Steve Shu

I'm a management consultant with Nortel Networks. My MO is that of a right hand man.

Mr. Shu is a management consultant and the broadband wireless practice leader within Nortel Networks' Consulting Services group. He has over fifteen years of industry experience in the telecommunications and software industries. Prior to these efforts, Mr. Shu served in a number of interim management and consulting roles with startups and middle-market technology firms. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Shu was Vice President of Operations and Business Development for FiveSight (acquired by Intalio) and managed all functions related to finance, accounting, legal, business development, and professional services. Mr. Shu played a lead role in obtaining FiveSight's first enterprise and international clients and first round of corporate venture capital from Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP). Mr. Shu joined FiveSight from Pittiglio Rabin Todd and McGrath (PRTM), the premier management consultancy to high-tech firms. PRTM was recently ranked the #1 firm in Consulting Magazine in the areas of leadership and consistent placement of managers. Additionally, Mr. Shu has held consulting, management, and systems, software, and design engineering positions with Bellcore (now Telcordia Technologies), FSLI, and AT&T Bell Laboratories (now Lucent Technologies).

Mr. Shu holds an MBA from the University of Chicago with specialties in finance and organizational behavior and both an ME and BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
